Merry Wishes

CAS Challenge
Second white layer textured with striped embossing folder.
Image stamped in Tuxedo Black then coloured with Copics.
Small banner thinlits die for sentiment base.

Red and Gold

For this challenge I used Theresa Momber's "Peace and Joy" stamp set from Gina K Designs.
I used an Anna Griffin die to cut the large gold flourish behind the sentiment.
An Anna Griffin folder was used to emboss gold paper for the background of the sentiment.
The sentiment was stamped with versa mark then gold embossing powder was applied.
The gold striped vellum background paper is from Stampin Up.

Mod Squad's "Flip Flop Challenge"

The idea of a "Flip Flop Challenge" is to create a card using a stamp that was designed for one purpose and use it to create a project for another purpose.
I used Melanie Muenchinger's set "Gifts from the Sea" from Gina K Designs to create a front step Christmas Wreath card.
I cut the wreath with Stampin Up's Floral Frames dies.
I used all the seashells from the set to stamp the wreath and used the coral stamp and one of the shell stamps for the bow.
The seashell border is a Martha Stewart punch and the Embossing Folder is by Anna Griffin.
The sentiment is from a Creative Expressions Sue Wilson die that I cut from gold paper.

Sew Sweet ~~ Top 3 Pick at "Create With Connie and Mary" Sketch Challenge

This card was created for a Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary CCMC377. As soon as I saw the sketch I instantly thought of "Sew Suite", a Stampin' Up set that I just love but is now retired. I was happy to dig it out again, along with the matching DSP "Sweet Stitches", also retired. The cute little pins on top right are from the coordinating "Sweet Stitches Rub Ons" and the covered buttons from the Sweet Stiches suite that retired along with the others as well. The sentiment is from a current set " A Dozen Thoughts".

Share The Joy Challenge # 7

Our Stamping Club is making calendars for Christmas gifts.
For each month I created a project highlighting the events coinciding with the theme of that time of year.
Die cut frames, image coloured with Copics and dimensionals to pop up the sentiment.

PP266 ~ A Sensible Woman

This is indeed a very elegant stamp as a whole, but for impact I wanted to only highlight her hat, glove and rose.
Copics were used to colour the image and then I embellished her hat with tiny Sworovski crystals.
Of course...the rose had to be yellow and a petite pearl embellishes her earring.

Need A Lift?

A little whimsical card to practice my Copic Colouring technique.
( I dare say it's going to take a very long time to master that medium).

Just Add Ink 282 Inspiration Challenge

This challenge was to create a "Girly Girl" card.

My take on this theme.....shoe shopping on the Champs Élysées!

What an amazing "Retail Therapy" Paris vacation that was!!!

SUO 132 Stampin' Up Only "Punch It Up Challenge"

This particular challenge was to make a Halloween card using only punches.
I used a Christmas ornament punch (and turned it upside down) to create the ghost. An oval punch to create sections of the pumpkin, curly label punch for hands of ghost, small leaf punch, bat punch, circle punch and "top note" die for second layer.

CCMC375 Top 3 Pick

This was a CCMC Sketch Challenge.

Beach themed projects are my most favourite to make.
There is a quaint little shop in Port Stanley, Ontario that sells my cards, and I must say that I am very flattered that they have chosen to stock them.
