Autumn Birthday

Just Add Ink Challenge # 378~~Add Texture~~

First I stamped background on card layer, then cut an oval for another layer and stamped it as well.
Then stamped the Maple Leaf and fussy cut it. I then touched up all the leaves by blending in some colours with my Spectrum Noir markers.
To fasten the twine on the base layer, I punched two holes behind the oval layer and wove the string through it to secure.
I then used a small clothespin to attach another leaf to the string. To give the attached leaf some texture, I curled the edges up, then added a little bit of Wink of Stella for some glam.
A rather simple design, but with touches of textural interest.

Grateful

SUO Challenge #183~~~"Autumn Colours"
Paper Players Challenge #362

For this card I used a brand new set from the SU 2017 Holiday Catalogue called "Count My Blessings".
I stamped the three acorn images off twice with Soft Suede ink and then coloured them with my Aqua painter.
I used the Wood Textured embossing folder to give interest to the brown cardstock.
I punched two small ovals and mounted the sentiment. Linen thread finishes it off.

Apple Harvest

SUO Challenge #183~~~"Autumn Colours"
Paper Players Challenge #362

My second entry for this challenge had me dig up yet another SU set from years ago called "Countryside".
First I stamped the truck in a light grey ink. For the background, I masked off the truck and used one of the tree stamps from "Lovely as a Tree".
I then used my aqua painter to colour the images. The DSP is from years ago as well.
To add interest and texture, I used linen thread and enamel dots to finish this project off.

Autumn Pear Harvest

SUO Challenge #183~~"Autumn Colours"
Paper Players Challenge #362

For this card I dug out an old set I have not used for years called "Always Thankful".
I then remembered this DSP from years ago that would marry nicely with my design.
I used an aqua painter to colour the image and used my brand new roll of burlap ribbon to complete that rustic feel.
For the decorative edge on the sentiment, I used a square scalloped framelit and then trimmed little strips.

Geraniums

This card was done for the Mod Squad Challenge Blog

This week's challenges were to use heat embossing on your card, other than the sentiment.
I created the floral background paper by stamping a co ordinating stamp in this set by Power Poppy with Versamark and then heat embossing with red embossing powder.
I then used an aqua painter brush to colour the image.
