Mod Squad Challenge "Trees and Snow"

The sentiment and the snowflake dies are from Gina K Designs.

To create a "shadow" for depth on the snowflakes, I also cut them out in black and placed them just a tad over from the gold ones on top and then popped them up with dimensionals.

The base of the card is gold with tiny white snowflakes. Then a layer of black cardstock, then a layer of white velum with gold snowflakes and finally, another piece of velum that had a pine tree print in black. 

I heat embossed the sentiment on black then framed it in gold sparkle paper. These papers are all from my stash.

Thankful For You

Stamped image and sentiment with Momento Tuxedo Black, coloured with Spectrum Noir markers and highlighted with Wink of Stella glitter marker. Stamps & PP-GKD, punches MS & SU.

Winter Cardinal

The medium used to colour the cardinal was Twinkling H 2O's. Highlights were added with a Sakura Clear Star Pen and Ranger glitter.

Butterfly Birthday

Tri-fold card incorporating three coordinating patterned papers from Gina K Designs.

Birthday Wishes~~First Place Winner in Gina K Stamp TV Challenge~~

The challenge for this project was to create a card with a 1~2~3 Recipe. Therefore, the card had to have 1 of something, 2 of something and 3 of something. 

I have 1 bow embellished with 1 decorative brad, 2 sets of circles and 3 floral images. 

In order to coordinate the colours, I created my own patterned paper by stamping leaf branches with Momento Tuxedo Black on the Soft Suede card stock.

Just for fun, I really piled on the layers.

This card has 16 layers from card base to brad.

The stamps, steel die and patterned papers used for this project are from Gina K Designs.

The scalloped punch is Martha Stewart. After constructing the base layers, I then stamped the scalloped circle frame with Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Stamped the butterfly and then die cut both those pieces with the Big Shot.

To embellish the butterfly I applied clear glitter with a Sakura Pen and petite pearls.

Red and Gold

For this challenge I used Theresa Momber's "Peace and Joy" stamp set from Gina K Designs.

I used an Anna Griffin die to cut the large gold flourish behind the sentiment.

An Anna Griffin folder was used to emboss gold paper for the background of the sentiment.

The sentiment was stamped with versa mark then gold embossing powder was applied.

The gold striped vellum background paper is from Stampin Up.
