Christmas Cardinal

The Cardinal first stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black, then water coloured with "Twinkling H2O's. This type of water colour medium has a very very subtle glimmer/glitter to it. I haven't used my H2O's for years and glad to bring them out again to colour this stamp.

I dry embossed the second white layer and used framelit dies to cut the two layers underneath the cardinal.

Happy Birthday Wishes

Paris

Paris will always be the most beautiful place I have ever visited. 

As an homage to this great city, I stamped a collage to create a French feel for the background paper.

I then stamped the very feminine bustier, added glitter and rhinestones for that "Ooh La La" feel and fussy cut it to be able to pop it up with dimensionals.

Wishing peace and love for this great city.

Spooky Halloween

I had lots of fun with the design of this card. The stamp is comprised of all different themed sections, and therefore, when focusing on one particular area, I had to keep in mind colour coordination to keep it flowing together. 

The medium I used was Twinkling H2O's watercolours.

This type of watercolour has a shimmer/glitter mixed into it and, after adding water to the H2O's, you apply with a watercolour brush. 

Very time consuming method, but the end result is a project well with the effort.

A Little Dash of Cheer

"Freshly Made Sketches Challenge" ; "CCMC380 Challenge" and  "Always Playing With Paper Colour Challenge" using Smokey Slate, Real Red and Basic Black.

The snowflake was stamped with Versamark, heat embossed then die cut through the Big Shot and popped up with dimensionals.

Star of Wonder

Of the over 3,000 stamps in my craft studio, this precious little lamb stamp is my very most favourite.

I first stamped him in Versamark on the top layer and then heat embossed with black embossing powder to create a crisp image. I then repeated that step on another piece of paper, fussy cut the image and added dimensionals to pop him up from the first image. I then applied glue and white flocking to give him a furry white texture.

I used water colour pencils to create the night sky and the halo effect from the shining star.

I then applied a very fine glitter to give it that "starry night" feel.

I mixed white flocking with very fine glitter for the snow, and coloured rhinestones for the stars.
